Frequently asked questions

Is this real ostrich?

Yes. Leg skin, not the quill body hide.

Why does mine look different from the photo?

Every wrap is cut from a different leg. The scale layout you get is yours alone.

How is the edge finished?

A custom-mixed PU coating, blended to match the surface finish of whichever hide I'm working with. It lasts longer than acrylic edge paint and won't peel the way the fast acrylic process does. Very few crafters bother; it's the strongest edge I know how to make.

Can I get this shipped outside the US?

Not yet. Exotic hides need CITES export paperwork, which is on the list for 2027. US addresses only for now.

Can I return it?

Exotics are final sale. Each one is cut from a unique hide, so a carried wrap can't be resold as new. A manufacturing defect is on me: contact us within 30 days and we'll make it right.

Does it carry cards?

Cash only. Want cards in the same hide? Custom builds will let you pair a card wallet cut from the same skin.

How do I care for it?

Carry it. Wipe with a dry cloth. No oils, no soap, no soaking.
